2008 Calendar of Events

Below is the complete schedule of free guided Toronto Trails Festival walks for fall 2008.

All regular walks were approximately an hour and a half in length. Xtreme walks are significantly longer.

Walking Levels are determined by Distance / Speed / Terrain

Level #1 - 7/8k @ 3km/ hour - relatively flat terrain

Level #2 8-15k @4km/hour - some hilly terrain

Level #3 15k plus @5km/hour - varied terrain

Tommy Thompson Park/Leslie Street Spit
10:00 am start
This is a Level 2 Walk.

Eastern Beaches - Port Union
10:00 am start
This is a Level 2 Walk.

Rouge River Valley

This is a Level 2 Walk.

Xtreme Walk Finale
10:00 am start
Meet at Starbucks at 446 Spadina Road
Walk from Forest Hill to Davisville to Rosedale and back to Forest Hill - approximately 2.5 hours.
This is a Level 3 Walk.

 

Toronto Trails Festival's "Yoga Walks"

In Cedarvale Ravine. Start/finish at the Starbucks at 446 Spadina Road and proceed to Cedarvale Ravine.

Begins each Saturday at 10:00 am.
